Gift Cards make great gifts ANYTIME of year!
My life began when I was born (in the 1980s - we'll leave it at that!), but my story began after taking a DNA test in 2017. I received my ethnicity report as well as my DNA matches (and a surprise!) and I started to research my family history.
I felt like Nancy Drew solving a mystery and the best part was that it never ended. Researching my family history can go on as little or as long as I want it to. I love doing genealogical research and connecting the dots of where my family came from. I get a thrill from uncovering facts like names, dates, and places of birth from long-dead relatives, but also finding stories of strength and persistence, love, and loss. Since discovering my passion, I have sought every opportunity I could find to continue doing what I love and have helped a number of friends and family discover their lost connections along the way.
When I am not chasing down genealogy leads, I love spending time with my amazing and very supportive husband, 2 wonderfully kind and articulate children, and 2 mischievous standard poodles. I adore traveling and learning about new places, am obsessed with learning whatever I can about history and spending time with my wonderful friends and family.
